As Means of Decorating The Bungalow Home
STENCILING as a means of decorating and beautifying the bungalow has again become fashionable, though it is an old process and has been used for centuries. The Japanese are considered by experts to be foremost in this form of decoration. The Egyptians and Romans also used stenciling, although their methods were different from ours. Modern stenciling has become simpler than in the past. Formerly the artist had to make his own brushes and pigments, using whatever paper was handiest. Today brushes, pigment and paper are all specially prepared.
