Few things are more pleasing to the average bungalow owner than the discovery that he is able to do work about his own home. which tends to increase the value of his property. Whether it be the building of a garden, erection of fences or lattice work, or doing some necessary piece of painting, the knowledge that it may be done without calling in the professional craftsman is distinctly satisfying. Nothing, perhaps, is more gratifying than to find that with comparatively little effort he may fashion out of odds and ends and other trifles small pieces of furniture and nicknacks for use in the home.
