A Morris Chair of General Proportions

A Morris chair occupying the place of honor before the hearth is one of the most comfortable chairs in the room and is also one of the most used. The Amateur Craftsman should bear this in mind when making this chair and do the work in the best possible manner, both for looks and strength. The chair described and illustrated is a simple one to make and requires but few tools, but the edge tools must be sharp.
